Items for this department can be submitted by teachers through the schools (use the Teacher Submitted Entry Blank) or by individuals (use the Individual Submitted Entry Blank). Home Schooled Students and parents are examples of individual entries. In order to have a neat display in the Little Red Schoolhouse, please adhere to the following guidelines: Entries must be brought to the Fairgrounds between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM on Monday, June 14, 2010, or Wednesday, July 14, 2010 ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER JULY 14, 2010.
1. Work must not be traced or copied.
2. Each teacher may enter only two entries from any one grade under each class number
listed each session. For example, if there is a morning and afternoon kindergarten
session, the teacher may enter a total of four (4) in each of the classes listed.
3. An art teacher in a district may enter one entry from each of the classes taught at a grade
level. For example, if teaching six second grades, a total of six (6) entries under each
class number listed may be entered.
4. INDIVIDUAL ENTRIES may enter one entry in each class number listed.
Please use special Individual Entry Form.
5. All matting must be limited to one inch.
6. The maximum size of any entry is 3'x4'.
7. Do not use seeds, beans, or other food products in any project.
8. The name of the student must appear on the entry blank.
9. The name of the student, the teacher, and the school district and the
classification must be written directly on the back of all items entered.
10.Tags must be attached to the upper left hand corner of each project with
two staples."Tear off the claim ticket, turn up the bottom, tuck under the flap. DO NOT
staple the flap up."
11. All exhibits must be picked up by a representative of the school on Sunday after the Fair,
between 8:00 AM and Noon.
